Geri Molloy is a major player at a London Investment bank. She earns a six figure salary working with a reclusive hedge fund manager based in Hong Kong. The story is set in the months leading up to the 1991 Gulf War when her life starts to fall apart. Her financier boyfriend abandons her and she is wracked by insomnia and excessive drinking.
