Membership Application
The appropriate application form membership may be downloaded by clicking on the relevant link below. Risborough and District u3a offers Individual Membership, along with Joint Membership for couples if wished. There are two versions of the form. One is PDF which you can print, or there is an editable version you can complete if you have MS Word. You will need to print the form and send it to the Membership Secretary, but please remember to sign and date it first.
Associate Membership Application
If you are already a member of another u3a, you may also join Princes Risborough and District as an Associate Member. Please download and print the appropriate application form below, sign and date it and send to our Membership Secretary, remembering to record your parent u3a branch. Our Associate Membership is currently free, subscriptions already being paid to that parent u3a.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK tax payer, you may like to Gift Aid your U3A subscriptions for this and subsequent years. This will enable Princes Risborough and District U3A to claim back tax which, otherwise, would go to HMRC. We can then use these monies to keep subscriptions to the minimum required and to improve our programme. Last year our Treasurer was able to reclaim over £1400.00 by this means.
Joint membership application
There are some options available with regard to Gift Aiding your subscriptions. You may complete a form each and pay your subscriptions separately, if you are both tax payers, or one or other of you i.e. the tax payer, can complete a single form and pay both subscriptions as a ‘joint membership’ application.
When completed, one for each applicant, the form/s should be returned to the Membership Secretary.

Once your membership has been processed and receipt of your subscription confirmed by the Treasurer, the Membership Secretary will send you proof of membership and you may have access to the many Risborough and District U3A activities.
