Third Age Trust
The Third Age Trust, based in London, is the umbrella organisation supporting local U3As throughout UK. Their website is updated regularly and has a lot of useful information to help us keep well, keep learning and keep in touch in these difficult times.
Thames Valley Network
The Thames Valley Network is an umbrella organisation for all of the individual U3As in the region. Its aim is to advance the education of members, mainly through the provision of study days and training sessions. It also encourages the provision of leisure activities and social welfare by facilitating co-operation between U3As in the network.
Information on planned study days and training days as well as an form for suggesting subjects for the future study days can be found on the TVN website.
Other Local U3A Groups
As a member of Princes Risborough and District U3A you are entitled to visit an Interest Group of a neighbouring U3A provided we do not offer a group of similar interest and the group has spaces. Please contact the group before going to a meeting. You will normally be asked to pay a visitors fee.

Subject Networks
Subject networks provide a platform for u3a members to connect and come together around their interests across the UK. Whether you’re a member of an interest group on that subject or not, you can share ideas and resources, build relationships and access more learning opportunities around a subject.
More subject networks are being developed across u3a all the time. If you want to bring members together around a subject you’re passionate about or are aware of existing connections in your area please get in touch – u3a National Office
Interest Groups Online
Interest Groups Online is an online u3a community that gives you the opportunity to join groups, talks and courses from the comfort of your own home. Like a local u3a the groups and activities are run by members and are a great way to meet people from all across the u3a movement.
There are groups and courses covering a wide range of subjects from Art to Zentangle. So whether you want to know more about history or learn to do cryptic crosswords and even more there’s something for everyone. It only costs £12 to join for the year, from 1 April to 31 March, and once you’re a member you can join as many groups as you can fit in your diary.
U3A Communities
U3A Communities is a totally free online platform for inquiring minds. There are currently seven communities covering subjects from Art History to Science and Technology. You can sign-up to receive email updates from each group with details of new meetings or posts and access recordings of past meetings if a talk takes your fancy.
