On Saturday 13th November the theatre group went to Wycombe Swan for a wonderful evening concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Conductor Kevin John Edusei was fantastic! Very athletic,very tall, very slim!
The programme was: Coleridge-Taylor; Ballade for Orchestra which most of us had never heard before, Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2 played by a marvellousl pianist Roman Kosyakov and to finish Beethoven Symphony No.6, “Pastoral.”
The seats were excellent and it was so good to receive so much excellent feedback. This was our first trip to a theatre for such a long time and everyone enjoyed themselves so much.
We went on the little green bus and the driver was so obliging.
We look forward to many more trips in the coming year!.
