The wine tasting social event on Wednesday 12th July appeared to be enjoyed by all as the chat and laughter got somewhat more boisterous as the evening went on. Paul Woodward-Court did a superb job of acting as sommelier. He was keen to point out that he is an enthusiastic amateur and not an expert but he certainly knows a lot about wines and his presentation was excellently received. Thanks to all the helpers who acted as pourers and for keeping their tables in order. We’ve received a lot of positive messages since with one saying it was just like a party!
I don’t know what’s next. I will have to get thinking.
