Our u3a Snooker group allows members to play snooker on an inexpensive pay-as-you-play basis at Princes Risborough Snooker Club. Every Tuesday evening is reserved for our use.

More about this group
We have two sessions each Tuesday evening. The first starts at 6.45pm, with two teams of two players, and last for one hour. The team with the higher score when the time is up will be the winners. The second session, also with two teams of two, is not time-limited and will end when the winners score cannot be beaten by their opponents. Such a game could last for over 90 minutes, meaning it is likely to end after 8.30pm.
We may be able to provide occasional group coaching sessions. Snooker cues can be provided, although more serious players are likely to want to purchase their own.
Costs are very reasonable. There is a standard fee of £1 per player plus £1 per hour towards lighting costs, meaning that the first session charge is £2 per player and the second session charge is £3 per player.
