Out With Friends
The Out With Friends Group is for both men and women who need to socialise on their own either because they live alone or for some other reason.
New members are welcome to just turn up at our meetings and join in.
The group currently has 40 members with an attendance of 25-30 at most meetings. Out with Friends enables members to meet others with similar interests, to arrange outings and events in small or larger groups. At the meetings members put forward ideas for activities of various kinds. Small and/or local activities are regarded as just as important as larger activities.
Planned activities include the normal monthly meetings, coffee mornings, lunches, visits including joining Motts coach outings for longer trips.

We realise new members may not know anyone in the group, so we have set up a “Buddy” system to offer them help in settling in.
Our monthly meetings will take place in the Cherry Baker Room of the Community Centre at Wades Park for the foreseeable future and we are planning other events which include our coffee mornings, lunches, visits etc. Contact the Group Leader for more information or just come and join us at our monthly meetings.
