Winterbourne: Winterbourne is one of the best surviving examples of an Edwardian Arts and Crafts suburban villa and garden garden in Birmingham. The 7 acre garden was lovingly created by the homeowners, Margaret and John Nettlefold, using the books of Gertrude Jekyll as guides and inspiration. An art exhibition relating to the house/gardens is on the top floor.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens:  Birmingham Botanical Gardens, owned by the university, is the green heart of Birmingham, offering a uniquely bio-diverse natural environment. It is one of the UK’s most significant historic Botanic Gardens which has remarkably remained intact since 1829.
