15 of our Theatre group members went to see a live screening direct from the Opera House Covent Garden at the Odeon Cinema in Aylesbury on Tuesday 8th October 2019 an evening performance of Don Giovanni. The best and most spectacular performance I have ever seen. A fantastic cast with deep and full on voices and dramatic sets.
We hired the little green bus to take us and fetch us home which was so useful and we are so grateful to the volunteer drivers who give up their spare time “free” The journey into Aylesbury took nearly an hour from PR because of all the roadworks at SM.
This Opera is a long one and most of us didn’t get home until 11.30.p.m. but well worth it! Everyone enjoyed it and of course because this Opera was live it was seen in many many countries all over the world. How exciting!
