Science and Technology Group meeting again!
Following a successful trial of the Zoom video conferencing platform, the Science and Technology group is now ready to hold longer meetings using our U3A’s new Zoom Pro licence. This will allow members to give virtual talks too the group, just like we used to do, but now in the comfort of your own home. The plan for now is to meet in this way every two weeks, with presentations on various subjects interspersed with ‘Science in the news’ sessions, the first of which will be held on Tuesday 3 November.
Group members are given login details for the Zoom session prior to each meeting by email. Anyone new wishing to join the group should contact the group leader at scienceandtechnology@risboroughu3a.org.uk
