Another busy session. We had our usual session on choosing our favourite out of the prints people brought on the subject of “Telephoto”.
There were a couple of GoDs: John’s pillows for resting his super-macho telephoto lens on when photographing birds from a hide, and Peter’s magnetic printing paper to let you turn your photos into fridge magnets.
Then the skills session on making Panoramas. A bit of a glitch when the software on the laptop froze, but it gave Chris a chance to demonstrate his ingenuity  in blocking out the skylight windows in the ceiling. But it really is easy to make panoramas, so give it a try and bring your results on a memory stick to next month’s meeting. Notes on making Panoramas are on the More on Photography page .
Thanks to the people who brought their shots from Hambleden, and to Peter for talking about some of his pictures and inviting us to comment on them.
Next month:
  • Theme for your prints is “Red”.
  • Bring your panoramams on a memory stick.
  • Tony R will bring a few photos on a memory stick for us to discuss.
