We welcomed 64 members (including some new ones) at our January meeting which was the greatest number ever! Our speaker was George Lockwood a Capel Manor trained gardener and RHS- listed speaker, who gave us a talk on soil health and bulbs through the seasons. George shared his infectious enthusiasm for organic gardening and an amazing number of different types and varieties of bulbs. Lovely slides of the flowers and good advice on the best conditions to keep the bulbs flowering ever year.
