Vegetable growing
David and Jenny Brown kindly hosted the June meeting in their Monks Risborough garden and a few of our members had a chance to get their hands dirty.
David’s talk on vegetable growing included a look around his vegetable plot and all were surprised at what a good crop there was, so early in the season. The chance to taste some Charlotte early potatoes was one of the highlights and of course a selection of cake was available as well.
Next month we’ll be back in the Carrington Room but continuing the outdoor theme with summer festivals and picnics.
