Meet at the junction of Oak Rd and New Rd. (the road up towards Kop Hill, from the roundabout) at 10.30.

This is a old established walk for u3a strollers. We go via the Icknield way to Pyrtle Spring and continue to the junction of Woodway and Wardrobes Lane.

We walk down Wardrobes Lane for a short distance and then turn left on to a bridleway which leads down to complete the loop to Pyrtle Spring and then

retrace our steps, back to the start point.  There are some gentle slopes to negotiate and five stiles and one gate. There will be mud I am sure. Most of

the walk has wide paths with few narrow sections. .
