This is intended to be a fun group for ukulele players that is also developmental and creative. It is open to all, from absolute beginners to experienced players. The cost is £2.

More about this group
We will be looking at music from the 50s , 60s and 70s as well as some modern music that fits the same genre. Initally the songs will be provided. The songs will have the chords in them and we will learn the tunes and develop our own style of playing. The group can decide how this develops as it gains in confidence and experience.
Everyone is welcome, beginners, experienced players, and all those in between. Beginners will learn while playing with the group. I have found most ukulele groups are friendly and supportive. There is always help and advice available to ensure everyone gets the most out of the sessions.
The ukulele is an accessible and accomodating instrument, however, it still requires practice to become proficient. It is predominately an instrument to sing along with, and as such tends to be strummed. Be prepared to have some fun as you sing along to the songs.
